About
David graduated in Computer Science in 1982 and worked first for Prime Computers and then for Digital. Whilst at Digital he worked mostly in low level software in bridges and routers. He then moved into Digital Semiconductor and worked first on the Alpha Processor and then on StrongARM. That was when he became involved in Linux. David moved to Arm in 1998 where he was involved in tools, at one time running engineering in the toolchain division. He was made an Arm Fellow for his open source work and was instrumental in the foundation of Linaro. David was Linaro’s CTO for 11 years and has now been made a Linaro Fellow.
